BiographyHistory

Milirrpum was a traditional leader of the Rirratjingu clan, his spiritual birth place was in Rarrkala, near the Wessell Island group. In March 1970 he participated and represented his people in the case Milirrpum and Others v Nabalco Pty Ltd and the Commonwealth of Australia, in the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory.
