Gary L Clarke has a background in research and the development of new technology. He has also been a part owner of a small film company based in the UK writing and directing two short films, a number of documentary projects and has written two crime-related feature film scripts. He was a winner of the World Pater Award for the best unproduced television script titled Damper from the Australasian Academy of Broadcast Arts and Sciences.
