Comments
Australia Tonight, an interview and talkback program, was produced and hosted by Paul Tolley from Tweed Heads for five years. It was the last networked program out of a regional studio aimed at regional audiences. It went to stations in NSW and Queensland. The core networked stations were Radio 97, 4GY, 4AK, 2LM, 2PK, 2MG, 2AD, 2NZ, 2VM, 2MO and 2RE, along with others at various times. Prior to Australia Tonight, Paul produced and hosted the midnight to dawn show for the same network.
Paul Tolley has also worked for ABC Channel 2 in Sydney and as a producer of TV commercials, and did over a decade of freelance work in most aspects of film production, for both Australian and international clients.
Interested researchers would need to bring their own tape machine to listen to reel-to-reel tapes.
