The Institute is the national industry body for public relations and communications professionals in Australia. It was founded in 1949 and there are branches in all states and the ACT and NT.

On PRIA’s website can be found its constitution, codes of ethics, annual reports and submissions to government for the last couple of years, as well as national and state newsletters, some going back to 2006.
