The Port Fairy Historical Society is not set up to allow self research, but will do research on request for a fee.
The State Library of Victoria has a collection of the "Koroit Sentinel" newspaper and of "The Gazette" (Port Fairy) under its different names over the years. Deakin University Library and the National Library of Australia also hold some Port Fairy newspapers.
