Comments
The Library is for production purposes and there are no facilities for outside researchers.
Sydney and Melbourne hold the main repositories (see also Sydney entry). Each other station in the network is responsible for cataloguing its News: Perth, Brisbane, Adelaide.
Much film and tape material from before the mid-1980s has gone to the National Film and Sound Archive. The network also participates in the NFSA News and Current Affairs project, whereby specified weeks of news are provided to it.
