AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Katie Jones feels isolated and fearful. When nuclear-armed extremists wreak havoc on Sydney, her husband Roger, forces her to flee to a place she doesn’t want to be—a glittering new city annexed from their Australian homeland by the seemingly gallant army of a rescuing superpower.

A mysterious Seer then warns Katie that the inhabitants of this futuristic new metropolis have fallen under the mind-control of an artificially intelligent brain—a brain secured within the stylized dragon icon that towers over the city.

Katie is incensed when she sees Roger succumb to the prophesied spell of the dragon. Her suspicions are confirmed when he naively surrenders his aeronautical brilliance to help create the world’s first mega-airship—a city-sized cruise-liner-of-the-air.

But when Roger is kidnapped on the maiden voyage of his globally acclaimed airship, Katie fears the ominous prophecies of the Seer have only just begun...' (publication blurb). .
