AbstractHistoryArchive Description

It is the year 2027, a time when the Earth's land masses have been inundated by eight metres of rising sea - the impact of climate change being even more catastrophic than scientists had ever predicted - and the world is in the grip of a new faith, Delugion, the leader of that faith having uncannily forecast the various natural disasters that have shaped the world.

John Frankston, friend and political adviser to Frank Tsoukalos, has helped his country ride the changes over the decades, but when John discovers a strange email linking Frank with Delugion, Frank is murdered and John finds himself kidnapped, whilst simultaneously being framed for Frank's murder.

John is soon intercepted by members of an eco-terrorist group, and discovers that they are his last hope for freedom and helping him unveil the truth.

Warmth explores the dark realms of climate change, and the flooded world. What would happen if the worst was realised and climate change was rapid? Would religions endure, evolve or die? Would governments survive as they are? Would we have war or peace?
