Comments

The Herald and Weekly Times Pty Ltd, part of News Limited, publishes "The Herald Sun", "The Sunday Herald Sun", "The Weekly Times" and the Melbourne edition of "mX". "The Herald Sun" was created out of a merger of "The Herald" and the "Sun-News Pictorial" in 1990.

The State Library of Victoria holds most HWT publications on microfilm, as well as some card indexes, covering from the late 1920s to 1970.

It is preferred that requests for access to the HWT archives be submitted in writing. Research can be done by the library for a fee. Access is rarely given to company archives – requests must be directed to senior management.
