Comments

Bruce Carty has researched the history of more than 600 AM radio stations in Australia (1918-1999), with the results compiled in 2011 in the book "Australian Radio History".

He also founded community station Radio Yesteryear, which broadcasts from Port Macquarie in NSW on 97.3 FM. He is Chairman and Technical Director of that station and acts as a volunteer consultant to other community broadcasters. He has spent 50 years in the radio and television industries.
