For Indigenous Literacy Day, the Indigenous Literacy Foundation has released The Goanna Was Hungry, a new picture book comprised of stories written and illustrated by children taking part in the foundation’s community literacy project. Compiled by the writer Sally Morgan and the artist Ann James, the book was launched at the Sydney Opera House on Wednesday.' (Introduction)
